What happens… When you… Merge together… A priestess… And a Demon..? Horror… Ayardoer Akarea Daerensworthe used to live in a little town not far from Thalien. A small village that had few people; but was of some importance. Ayardoer( her real first name ) lived in one of the biggest huts along a small river that flowed swiftly. She was a Priestess in training. Her mother was a full priestess and was training her, instead of the normal head priestesses that trained the younger ones. For Four years, life in the little town was great. No evil attacked because of all the Priestesses there. One night at the full moon the town was having their usual ceremony to honour the new priestesses that where ready to start their real training as a qualified Priestess. Ayardoer (Akarea) was among them. All went well that night. Everyone danced, congratulated each other. Ayardoer (Akarea)‘s mother, hung back from the rest and waited until the crowed subsided before walking forward. She bent down and kneeled face to face with the young Ayardoer (Akarea). She held out her hands and in her hands was a small pendant. One that her mother had always worn, she never took it off. Ayardoer (Akarea) was shocked and stared at it then her strange red eyes rose to her mother. “It may protect you someday. “ Was all her mother said before turning and disappearing into the shadows that surrounded the unlit part of town. That was when things went wrong. One year later, a sudden storm decided to blow in and say hello. It brought dark clouds and bolts of lightning that rained down on the town in fury. It was a terrible storm… after it passed not one house was left standing. Ayardoer (Akarea) and her mother’s hut was burnt to the ground in a pile of gray and black ashes. Her mother was hurt, more then her. Ayardoer (Akarea) got her mother out and went back in to try and get some of their UN destroyed belongings. When a mysterious voice rang out around her. ‘Ayardoer Akarea Daerensworthe, you are the one. The one I have been searching for….’ The voice said, it sent chills down her spine. “Searching for? Why where you searching for me?” she asks this mysterious voice that had no source. Its reply made her gasp. ‘Because one as I, must take a heart, pure as gold, and turn it into darkness pure as hate. And you, I have chosen…’ It said. A strange red light shone around and everything else went into darkness. No one knows what happened next, except that When Akarea woke she had a strange marking across her back. It was Two years later when the Curse took affect. Twas a dark night; nothing stirred and nothing spoke. The emptiness was intruding. It all started with a simple flame. A single spark among a lit candlestick. A single scream echoed around the village. A scream that awoke all that lay in a peaceful slumber. A teenage girl stood in the middle of the village encircled in a ring of flames; a scream passed her lips, as the flame caught fire to her robes. A woman ran out of a small hut, her night dress billowing in the winds. “Ayardoer! “ The woman cried and raced towards the girl. The girl; Ayardoer screamed again. The flames had gone to the skin now. “Mother!” She cried in anguish “Help me mother!” The woman ran forward with a bucket of water and threw the contents of the bucket on the girl. A hiss was heard, but the flames did not back down. “What is this? What is happening to my daughter?!” The mother shouts, her powers as a Priestess where gone and she had passed then to Ayardoer (Akarea) a year back. The mother fell to the ground holding her head and staring at her screaming child encased in flames. “Mother . . this is the end.” Ayardoer (Akarea) says as the flames close over her head. “Please, mother, run.” The woman on the ground gasps and the flames burst, in a violent explosion. “Ayardoer! Ayardoer, No! I won’t leave!” The woman screams falling to the floor. “ . . . Be quiet woman. You’ve missed your chance…” A cold voice hisses from the subsiding flames. The woman looks up at a woman; clad in a priestesses robes, that looked as though they had been cursed by the gods of the underworld, a strange weapon, a dual long sword that priestesses used, but this looked like it had been made thrice to many times big; and her jet black hair reached the floor. Those crimson eyes glared down at the crying woman on the ground. “W-who are y-you?” The woman asks, her voice quaking with fear. “Your last and only memory!” The woman says in the cold hiss like voice. The girl takes hold of the weapon on her back and slides it from it sheath. She brings it down and in one fluid movement, and smashes the flat of the blade on the back of the woman’s neck, ringing her unconcious. A gasp escaped the mother’s lips then she fell forward unconscious. The demon, Vampire Ayardoer (Akarea), now cursed with the demon god of the underworld; laughed. The laugh echoed around the town sending the surrounding people scurrying. Raising her weapon she spoke a few words then chanted them and a strange black orb of shadows appeared above her head. Swinging the blade down in a single movement the shadow ball flew forward into the main house of the town. It exploded with a shudder and a tremor went through the ground and screams where heard as buildings collapsed on the people inside them and caught on fire. Ayardoer (Akarea) looked down at her unconscious mother and picked her up; her two fangs, showing in the flames light. Throwing her mother over her shoulder she jumped into the air and landed half a mile away. Running into a forest she laid her mother down under a tree then sprang off to find something to feast upon to, bay her hunger. [[The end for now ]]
